Our Story

A Perfect Blend of Sensational Food, Inspiring Ideas and Professional Staff

A husband and wife team, we began our journey as an independent catering company specialising in magical weddings, special occasions, motorsport catering and corporate hospitality. We are passionate about delivering mouth-watering dishes and love to get to know our clients personally so we can create unique bespoke menus, tailored to your taste and style.

Jen learnt the ropes early on, working at her parents’ hotel in Grange-over-Sands, where she met Luke. Jen and her team of friendly front of house staff provide a first-class master of ceremonies service and can help you to plan your event in detail, ensuring that your day runs seamlessly from start to finish.

Managing Director and Executive Chef. Working as a chef from a young age, Luke’s experience includes working at The Drunken Duck, for Paul Heathcote and for local Michelin starred chef Simon Rogan. Luke specialises in creating wholesome dishes using locally sourced ingredients from his doorstep in Cumbria.

One of the best decisions we made in booking our wedding was to book Southcott for the catering. We went for the canapés and then the barbecue and sticky toffee pudding. We could not fault Southcott for their service in the lead up to the wedding and on the day. We met with Jen and she was super helpful and we felt like she went above and beyond in helping us plan out the day. The food itself was excellent, with many guests saying it was the best wedding catering they had had. All the staff were so professional and friendly and it meant that on the day we were so calm about the proceedings because we trusted Jen so completely. If you haven’t already, book them now.
